MTR 1924 has a long history that goes back to 1924, when 3 brothers in the south Indian city of Bangalore decided to open up this restaurant. How apt that it should end up in a historical place like Brickfields! Their bestsellers are their thick, crispy Masala Dosai with potato fillings (RM10), as well as Rava Idly (RM9).

5. Ah Keong’s ABC & Cendol

Best For: ABC

If you’re looking for something to cool you down, look out for Ah Keong’s ABC and cendol stall. Run by a husband-wife duo, their ABC (RM4.50) is the bestseller here and they also have a variation of cendols and iced desserts. Don’t be surprised if they are sold out before 3pm!

6. Annalakshmi

Established in 1984, Annalakshmi offers a number of North and South Indian delicacies. That said, a lot of people also go for the vegetarian Indian buffet, where you get a wider selection for RM25.

There are a variety of rice dishes, rotis, dosas, vegetables and finger foods, such as samosas and pau bhajis.
