Something about Tujoh Cafe’s lush courtyard, monochrome artwork and vintage decor gives it a friendly neighbourhood atmosphere.
Tujoh Cafe is a charming hangout spot in Section 17, Petaling Jaya. As you step into the cafe, it opens out to a lush courtyard surrounded by greenery, amplified by the sunlight seeping through the glass opening. On one end of the cafe, there are old-school electronics like televisions and radios, while the other features a comfortable nook with monochrome artworks along the wall, adding modern vibes in the nature-inspired space.
The Menu: Western and Asian Fusion
Tujoh Cafe’s menu features a mixture of Asian and Western dishes. There are plenty of breakfast and main meals to select from, including brunch essentials, pastas, sandwiches and burgers.
The Pan Seared Salmon is generously drizzled with ebiko topping, for a burst of flavour.
For those who like a bit of kick, there is the Soft Shell Crab Creamy Tom Yum Pasta. The sauce is creamy and spicy, with a whole crab to top it off, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. There’s also a more low-key Seafood Pomodoro with a smooth creamy sauce.
Some of the dishes are designed for sharing, such as the fun-sized Beef Petite Burger with three beef sliders. Or you can go for the Lamb Fondue, which you can dip into cheese fondue to enhance it with a richer aroma.
Coffee lovers have a range of drinks to choose from. Go for the Latte if you simply must have your caffeine, or try something quirky like the “super Malaysian” Pandan Iced Latte or Black Sesame Latte.
Tujoh Cafe has a chilled atmosphere that matches well with its nature-meets-urban-decor aesthetics. Great for Instagrammers, but even more so if you need some place to kick back and have a cuppa with friends.
