Several hospitals now offer drive-thru tests in Malaysia, including Pantai Hospital Penang Pantai Cheras Hospital, and Pantai Hospital Ipoh. Since Kuala Lumpur and Selangor have the highest number of coronavirus cases in Malaysia, we thought we’d share how you can do a 8-minute drive-thru test at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital.
Here is what to do if you suspect that you may have coronavirus symptoms:
Step 1: Make your way to KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital. No appointment needed.
Drive-Thru Opening Hours
Monday – Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Step 2: Register and make payment at the first counter, as well as provide initial readings. The test kit is available for RM600.
Step 3: The staff will get swabs from your nose and throat. You will also have a consultation with a medical professional. For your safety and to those around you, please be upfront and be honest!
Step 4: Your results will be available in 24 hours. During this time, stay home and rest well.
For those who do not have symptoms, you do not need to take the test. Please save the test kits for those who truly need them.
Thank you, frontliners
Our team at LokaLocal would like to thank all medical frontliners for their dedication and sacrifice to keep us safe. To all Malaysians, remember that you must stay home during the Movement Control Order and maintain hygienic practices to minimise the risk of getting Covid-19. Please stay calm and stay safe. We will get through this!
