Though I didnt have background on architecture, it is quite interesting for me to have a look on the local life and modern building in Bangsar, KL. Kenneth was really friendly and passionate on explaining the connections among the buildings and their architecture.

This is a leisurely walk around the historical part of Bangsar old town. Spent about 2.5 hours to see the daily life, eat the local foods, and understand the background of old shops. Experiencing the Indian head massage is a must!

This walk able to let me have the more understanding towards Bangsar after this tour with local expert - Kenneth Wong. This walk consists of historical, cultural (Hindu Temple), as well as the mix-and-match element of new and old - cafe hopping @ co-working place and arts.

If you still thinking Bangsar is just a 'high class' city next to MidValley Megamall, I strongly recommend you to join this walk.

This walk opens my eyes towards Petaling Street especially in terms of arts and the mix-and-match element of new and old - cafe hopping besides heaven for foodie and shopaholic.

Kenneth is a passionate, knowledgeable and genuine guide. He seems to have a great connection with Bangsar and its people, whose stories Kenneth shared and we enjoyed listening to. Some of the highlights of the tour include the traditional hardware and provision shops, and the base from which the tour started, the coffee shop. What could have been improved is perhaps greater opportunity for interaction throughout the tour, rather than just at the end. The weather was terribly hot, making the walk unpleasant at times, but this can't helped though be sure to bring along shades and sunblock to protect yourself! Overall, the cost of the tour is on the high side but it was time well spent, learning about the local culture and Kenneth's vast experience.
