Temerloh, an old town on the banks of Sungai Pahang, is the main city of central Pahang. It moves at its own laid back pace, with rows of vintage shops, colonial buildings, and an old bus station where the ’80s still seem to resonate. The new bus station is in the centre of the shop-and-restaurant filled new town (which is just a few minutes' walk from the old).
Then, we venture deep into Temerloh’s countryside, passing rubber groves, waving children, and beautiful traditional Malay houses. Slow down and enjoy the peacefulness alongside the delicious local delicacies that you'll get to explore!
