Our English speaking tour coordinator will pick you up from hotel lobby at 8:30am. Our first visit is the KL TOWER for a bird's eye of the City of Kuala Lumpur. Followed with a photo-stop of the KUALA LUMPUR TWIN TOWERS and drive towards the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur for a guided factory tour of SELANGOR PEWTER FACTORY. Exclusive handcrafted designs souvenirs using tin and antimony are made in this factory. Depart for the famous BATU CAVES - a limestone outcrop and climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu Deity who is honored every year during the festival of Thaipusam (ladies to be properly attired to enter the temple). Then visit the KING'S PALACE and move on to the NATIONAL MONUMENT - a War memorial in memory of our fallen heroes. Stop for BANANA LEAF LUNCH. Eating with your hands is a must! Drive pass the NATIONAL MOSQUE and RAILWAY STATION. INDEPENDENT SQUARE, a unique colonial landmark of Moorish designs where the British Union Jack was lowered and the Malaysian flag raised to declare Independence Day on 31 August 1957. Next, THE ROYAL SELANGOR CLUBHOUSE with Tudor styled architecture is where the British elites used to meet for a rest, the to ST MARY'S CATHEDRAL, the oldest Anglican Church with the Queen of England as the Patron. Before we ends the tour; stop at JAMEK MOSQUE, the confluence of 2 rivers where Kuala Lumpur got it's name. Drive pass the colourful Little India and return to your hotel at approximately 1500 hours.
