Discover the disappearing Chinese trades of Chinatown in Malacca.

The oldest Chinatown in Malaysia is Malacca Chinatown and it is one of the few in the world located within a UNSECO World Heritage Site. Malacca Chinatown is extremely picturesque and invokes a sense of nostalgia. The rich culture and the friendly locals make visitors unable to tear oneself away from it.

On this walk, we will cover Jonker Street, Jalan Tukang Besi, Jalan Tukang Emas, Jalan Tokong, Jalan Kampung Pantai, Lorong Hang Jebat and Jalan Kampung Kuli. Rich in centuries of history, the old-world buildings, temples and streets house the most precious old trades of Malacca.
