Discover and interact with the natural beauty of Laos on a half-day visit to Pha Tad Ke Botanical Garden,
Pha Tad Ke is the first botanical garden in Laos, and one of Luang Prabang's most popular natural attractions. Once the former hunting estate of the Lao royal family, the oasis is filled with ethno-botanic gardens, pathways and delicate floras. The garden aims to preserve the natural heritage of Laos by bringing together plants and traditional knowledge of botany. It is hidden across the gorgeous Mekong River.
In this experience, you will enjoy a 15-minute boat ride down the Mekong and bask in scenic river views until you reach Pha Tad Ke Botanical Garden. Explore the gardens, and partake in free activities, including bamboo handicraft, tea tasting, an introduction and orchid talk, and an optional one hour hike to the cave. After you've taken in these activities, consider relaxing for longer at our cafe by the lily pond, where you will be introduced to delicious lao fusion cuisine that is carefully prepared by our chef.
