Surrounded by concrete buildings of KL city, I am amazed how Kampung Baru still able to conserve the old Malay housing architectures and the cultures of living in community. I had fun touring the kampung with Mr Fuad (the 4th generation of Kampung Baru pioneer). Besides, I enjoyed the warm hospitality and tasty Malay delicacies at his home!

The host Fuad is so friendly and welcoming! Very professional and informative. The highlights of this tour is when Fuad brought us to his house, get to know his family and we had a good time together! His dad even offered to play guitar for us! So unforgettable!

It was interesting seeing Kampung Baru from a local's point of view. Fascinating to see how the neighbourhood has managed to keep Malay traditions, with the modern KL surrounding it.
