“Xin Qi Wu" (means Friday in Chinese) refers to the three streets of Jawa Lane (新街), Kee Ann Road (祈安律) and Bunga Raya (武牙拉也) that are located in the buffered zone of Malacca's World Heritage area. It's not exactly a tourist spot, of course, because it's an area unexplored. Hence, the originality of quite a few old communities has been very well preserved. It's like traveling back in time, sneaking a peek into Malacca's historical secrets.

The "Xin Qi Wu" community will expose you to the experience of the golden days, where our "ah-gong, ah-ma" (grandparents) frequents their hippest "open-air shopping mall" spot during those times. Live in those moments, and imagine yourself experimenting the essence of the old community, at the same time tantalizing your taste buds in the process!

Unsurprisingly, the "Xin Qi Wu" community will soon submerged in the flood of development. Let's unlock the vintage charms of these old communities before it disappears. Let's start with some food, handmade dimsum anyone?
