After you are picked up from your hotel within Vientiane city centre, the cycling journey begins. At 8.30am, you will ride out to the capital city of Laos to explore her temples and monuments. There is the Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple to have survived the 1828 Siamese war, filled with over 8000 Buddha statues. Next up, see the Wat Ho Pra Keo, once the home-temple of the Emerald Buddha or Pra Keo from the early time of Lane Xang Kingdom until the 18th century. Head towards Patouxay, built to honour those who have perished in war. One of the memorable stops would be the Luang Stupa, a national symbol and the most important monument in Laos. Have a leisurely walk along the Mekong river before ending the tour at 1.00pm.
