On the way, we will stop by a weaving village, Khmu village, Hmong village, and paper village. Not only will you enjoy the spectacular views of rice fields and rural villages so close to Luang Prabang, you can see how traditional handicraft like handmade 'Sa' paper are produced - all on two wheels!

Luang Prabang > Ban Phanom > Ban Picknoi > Ban Xang Hai > Ban Xang Khong > Luang Prabang
Our journey begins from Luang Prabang towards Ban Phanom village, a famous weaving village. After some exploration, we ride along the banks of Nam Khan River and stop at the Henri Mohot Tomb. Next, we will visit Ban Picknoi village, home to people of the ‘Youane ethnic minority’. Here we will cross the river by fishing boat to Ban Pickyai village, home to Youane & Leu ethnic minorities. The cruise will be graced by the scenic views of rice fields and rural villages on both sides. We then pass through more ethic villages like Ban Kokvan, home to the Khmu tribe, followed by Ban Bohae, a Hmong village. After having a picnic lunch, we cycle back for two and a half hours back to Luang Prabang. On the way, we will syop at Ban Xang Khong which is famous for its handmade ‘Sa’ paper.
