Get adventurous in the rural area of Luang Prabang
Starts at 8.30am Ends at 4.30pm Let's speed downhill by bicycle to the dock and cross the mighty Mekong River by boat. Upon reaching Ban Xieng Man Village, we shall cycle to Ban Na Kham, a village well known for its local sugarcane and 'kaolam' (sticky rice and coconut milk cooked in bamboo). After spending some time here, we will head to the Khmu village of Ban Houay Tan, Ban Som and then Ban Na for a local lunch. Next, we can cycle pass the local scenery, especially farmers at the rice fields. We shall carry on towards Ban Chan Neua, a small village famous its pottery, where you can understand its age-old traditions. We then explore the Mekong River in a small fishing boat, bringing us back to civilisation in Luang Prabang.
