Depart from Green Discovery Laos, Vang Vieng at 9am, head north towards Tham Xang cave (elephant cave). In this cave consists of a important Buddhist temple which was named after a remarkable limestone formation, situated just opposite the banks of Nam Song river. Through numerous long corridors and amazing limestone formations, you will discover Tham Hoi (snail cave), which owes its name to a snail-shaped stalactite. Then, you will en-route to the nearby Tham Nam (water cave), which is accessible by swimming. Look forward to a relaxing tour in this cave. Have a Lao-style picnic lunch before trekking on to the Hmong village of Phathao.
