Calling all nature-lovers to this two days tour through the Don Hau Sao National Protected Area : coffee and tea plantations, bamboo forests, the magnificent waterfalls and dinner by the campfire!

Trek through the Don Hau Sao National protected area and visit the stunning Tad Fane waterfall - one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Laos! The area is home of many different species including tigers! However you are more likely to see troops of monkeys and in the wet season gigantic butterflies and dozens of great hornbills near the base of the fall. Learn all about the tea and coffee at the tea plantation and coffee farms. Take on the embrace of the towering bamboo forest, and enjoy a delightful dinner over the campfire.

Day 1

Pakse > Bolaven Plateau > Ban Non Luang > Tad Taget Waterfall

Starts 8.30am
Ends 5.30pm

- Depart from Pakse and head off towards the Bolaven Plateau : pass by tea and coffee plantations which this area is famous for
- Arrive in the small village of Ban Non Luang : local guide will introduce to us the different animals in the forest and plants to use as Laos traditional medicine
- Have a stroll through coffee farms and bamboo forests and the thick forest
- Enjoy lunch by the small waterfalls inside the forest, feel free to relax and chill around the waterfalls
- After lunch, trek through the dense forest and head down the mountain to Tad Taget waterfall.
- Spend the night by the waterfalls : set up camp and enjoy swimming in this beautiful spot before indulging in a delicious dinner cooked over the campfire.

Approximately: 4–4.5hours trekking and 1.5hours transfer

Day 2

Tad Taget Waterfall > Tad Kamue Waterfall > Dan Ngai > Non Luang > Tad Fane > Pakse

- Enjoy a hearty Lao-style breakfast that marks a fresh start of the day
- Trek uphill through Dong Hua Sao National Biodiversity Conservation Area : its southern border is shared with Vietnam and Cambodia, listen to the music of birds singing and if your luck permits you get to meet and greet the monkeys
- Continue trekking until we reach the amazing Tad Kamue waterfall, where we will have lunch accompanied by the gushing sounds and cool breeze from the waterfall :
- Trek on towards the almost surreal looking Danh Ngai Limestone cliffs : take in the stunning panaromic views of Champasak Province
- Trek back to Ban Nong Luang via a different trail, arriving in the village for a ride back to Pakse

Approximately: 1.5hour transfer & 6 hours trekking

Wear robust footwear. Bring clothes/shoes to get wet, towel for bathing, warm clothes for the night
