This one day tour offers you two options; you can either begin in Ban Hat Xay Koun and kayak down the Mekong through the beautiful scenery to Don Det or begin in Nakasang from where you will take a boat to Don Khon to see the amazing Lipi waterfalls after this you will kayak out to see Mekong dolphins before finishing at Konephapheng Waterfall.

Itinerary

Pakse > Nakasang > Don Khon > Veunkham > Khonphapheng Waterfall

Starts 8.00am
Ends 4.30pm

- Depart from Pakse by bus to Nakasang village,
- Board a local boat, ride down the mighty Mekong and through some beautiful scenery
- Arrive at Don Khon Island : walk along the island to see the old French train and the amazing Leephi waterfalls.
- Take a short walk to above the falls and enjoy lunch together amongst some beautiful surroundings!
- Begin kayaking down the Mekong to an area near the Cambodian border where we will have the chance to see Mekong Dolphins
- Paddle onwards to Veunkham : the border of Laos and Cambodia
- Take the bus to visit the big Konephapheng Waterfall.
- The tour ends here : feel free to take your time at the Khonphapheng waterfall for the rest of the day, or head back to Pakse via minivan with a small fee
