Starts 8.30am Ends 5.30pm - Depart from Pakse towards the north west. - First stop of the day is at Ban Lak 19 village : watch how the local people produce knives using traditional methods. - Continue driving through tea and coffee plantation : stimulate your sense of smell to the aroma of pre-processed coffee beans and tea leaves - Arrive at the Bolaven Plateau, home to many different ethnicities including the Mon-Khmer - The journey continues to the amazing Tad Fan and Tad Nngoung waterfalls : great spot for swimming and enjoy lunch with the company of the gushing sounds and cool breeze by the falls - Visit the local market at Paksong : immerse yourself in the great variety of local groceries - Make our way to Tad Pasuem waterfall : visit the many different local ethnicities including Laven, Ta oy and Aluk - Head to the town of Champassak and spend the night in a local guesthouse. Starts 8.30am Ends 5.30pm - Begin the day with a visit to the amazing UNESCO World heritage site of Wat Phou temple : exploring this stunning ancient site and observe the details and beauty of this historically significant place - Return to our guesthouse for breakfast - Drive to the village of Ban Kiet Ngong, where we shall begin our soft trek through the Xepian National Biodiversity Conservation Area. - Enjoy a Lao-style lunch at the local restaurant, you will need to refuel yourself before continuing the eventful journey - Take a short ride to Ban Hat Xay Koun for boat transfer to Don Khone - Enjoy the sunset and watch the local fishermen at work along the journey - Arrive at Sala Donkhone just in time for dinner Approximately: 3.5 hours transfer, 45 minutes walking, 1.5 hour boat ride

Starts 8.30am Ends 5.30pm - After a hearty breakfast, take a relaxing bicycle ride to the old French wharf and along the old French railway line - Arrive at the Leephi waterfall : be mesmerized by the beautiful waterfall that mother nature has to offer - Return for lunch at Seng Aloun riverside restaurant : enjoy some delicious food amongst the beautiful surroundings - Take some time to relax and cycle to Don Det : absorb the various gorgeous sights along the way - Take a boat back to Don Khone, where we shall spend the night. Approximately: 4-5 hours cycling, 1 hour walking, 1.5 hour boat ride

Starts 8,30am Ends 5.30pm - After breakfast, take a short boat ride to Nakasang and transfer to Done Sadam - Board a boat to go watch the extraordinary Irrawaddy dolphins : try to photograph the active dolphins work their magic in their homeground - Heading back to the Done Sadam for a transfer to the Lao/Cambodian border to visit Khone Pheng waterfall: the largest in the whole of South East Asia! - Enjoy lunch by the waterfall whilst taking in the stunning views and cool breeze the waterfall offers - Return to Pakse or alternatively to the Lao/Cambodian border.
