Vientiane/Thakhek > Ban Nahin
You may choose to depart from Vientiane or Thakhek, and end at the different location from your departure Starts 7.00am Ends 5.30pm The trip begins at our office in Thakhek, from here we drive through the towering mountains of Khammouane to the Lao Loum village of Ban Na Hin. Here we enjoy lunch and relax for a while before trekking through old growth forest to get to a nearby Waterfall. At the fall we can spend time swimming, relaxing and enjoying sightseeing around the area before heading back in late afternoon and trekking back to Ban Nahin where we stay the night at a local guesthouse. Approximately: 3,5 hours transfer from Thakhek and 7 hours from Vientiane, 2,5 hours trekking
Ban Nahin > Ban Konglor > Ban Natan
Starts 7.00am Ends 5.30pm After enjoying breakfast we head off cycling to Ban Konglor which is a journey of around 3.5 hours. Along the way we will pass through several ethnic Lao Loum villages and beautiful scenery before arriving. At the mouth of the cave we can refresh by swimming in the lagoon after which we shall enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After our lunch we take an hour and a half long boat ride through the cave itself. Upon exiting the cave on the other side we walk for around 45 minutes to Ban Natan which is where will have a delicious Lao style dinner and stay overnight in a home stay with a local family. Approximately: 3.5 hours cycling, 1.5 hour long tail boat, 45 minutes walk
Ban Natan > Ban Konglor > Vientiane
Choose to end your journey at Thakhek or Vientiane, depending on your departure location. After breakfast we shall participate in a traditional Baci ceremony as performed by the local villages, after which we shall take a 10 minutes tractor ride to the starting point of kayaking. We begin paddling accompanied by a long tail boat for the luggage downstream and back through the cave to the blue lagoon. Upon arriving at the end of the cave we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, after which there will also be time for a refreshing swim if you wish before heading to Vientiane. Approximately: 3 hours kayaking, 7 hours transfer
