It is a laid-back village that is filled with tranquillity and peace. The village has not go through modernisation that make it lose its simplicity .The tidal inlet is crowded with wooden fishing boats which fish the muddy waters of the Straits of Malacca. There are also open-air seafood restaurants specialising in Assam Fish. Brightly coloured Chinese temples and Malay kampung houses surrounded by orchards made the scenery here looks like a painting.
