This cooking class by Chef Sara Khong, author of four cookbooks, gives you a hands-on lesson on making three dishes loved by the Malaysian Chinese during festive seasons:

▶️ Cured Meat Claypot Rice (Lap Mei Fan/ 腊味饭)
▶️ Salted Egg Oyster Roll (金黄蚝豉)
▶️ Imitation Sharks’ fin soup (碗仔翅)

After the class, enjoy a delicious meal together with Sara while hearing stories of the Malaysian way of life. You could bring home a starter pack of dried oyster, Chinese sausage, and waxed duck.

It is 20 minutes train ride from the city. I suggest taking Grab. You can also take the MRT to Taman Connaught Station, which is 10 minutes walk away.
