Buntong is famous with its history as well as its Kacang Putih. Back into the British colonial era in 1900s, Indians were to migrate from India and dropped at Ipoh Railway Station. Some of the Indians have decided to continue their living in Buntong to open up their own business, or to work as labourers under the British rule. Ever since their settlement in Buntong, it has now developed into a typical Indian village which consists of various colours of India.

Start at 9:00 a.m., assemble & meet at Ipoh Railway Station. We will start our journey to Buntong by going to the first destination - Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Tamil Methodist Church Tamil Settlement, Ipoh Devasthanam Creamatorium in Buntong, Kacang Putih village in Buntong, and finally we will finish our tour with a tea break at Bukit Merah Curry House, which will mark our end of journey.
