Cycling and admire the beautiful scenery of the paddy field
Our first activity involves cycling around the paddy fields. While cycling, our host will explain the step-by-step production of the paddy which involves planting, soil fertilizing, harvesting, and accessing seed quality, to name a few. We will then proceed for breakfast at a local restaurant.
Visit the Rice factory
Head into one of the top producing rice factory in Sekinchan. There is a small rice museum here and a shop where you can purchase locally produced rice, or other snacks made from locally grown produce.
Visit a temple in a sea of paddy
There is a grand temple that overlooks a breathtaking panorama of the paddy fields in Sekinchan. This is a popular place of worship for the villagefolk here.
Lepat jagung workshop
Next, off to a local's home in Sekinchan for lepat jagung workshop. Lepat jagung is a traditional sweet kuih made using corn and wrapped in banana leaf. Refresh yourself with homemade corn milk and enjoy the lepat jagung you have made.
