Let's take a walk off the beaten trail at Kuala Lumpur's iconic 100-year-old garden and explore the city's hidden natural wonders where only a local can share.
We will begin with a stroll around Lake Gardens, a Heritage Botanical Park with a myriad of flora and fauna spanning landscaped gardens of 9 football fields! Away from the tourist crowds, I will introduce you to the birds, insects, reptiles, wild fruits and flowers, including exotic species. You'll be surprised by what KL is hiding in its gardens.
We will explore the different herbs and spices used by Malaysians in their kitchen, followed by a visit to a deer colony, KL Bird Park (you can see our national bird, the hornbill), Orchid Garden and Hibiscus Garden. Our trail ends at the Lake Club.
This wanderlust walk is easy and suitable for all ages - the highlight is the main attractions and it's all about having a fun, educational and meaningful connection with the 100-year-old garden.
