Hand-made shoemaking is a craft that is gradually diminishing due to machinery. Get in touch with your creativity and learn the traditional ways of shoemaking from an established shoemaker, in a historical shop where world-renowned shoe designer Jimmy Choo started his legacy.
A two-generation legacy, this shop has made a name for themselves for being a pioneer in making both men’s and women’s shoes as well as taking custom-made orders from walk-in customers in the 1960s.
Following his father's retirement, Master Wong Jr has created a 4-hour introductory course for anyone wanting to experience shoe-making using traditional methods or getting in touch with their inner Jimmy Choo. You'll learn the basic techniques needed to cut shoe materials, understand the different contours of shoe patterns and how to apply glue on the shoe base.
Before joining the class, please do inform us of your gender and shoe size. For those wishing to label your shoes to your preference, eg; "Made by YOUR NAME - Date". You need to inform us at least 2 days in advance for us to pre-make your label.
