Brickfields, It is known as Kuala Lumpur's Little India due to the high percentage of Indian residents and businesses. Brickfields colourful maze of textile shops and jewellery stores, restaurants serving dosa pancakes and banana-leaf curries.

Brickfields was like an engine for Kuala Lumpur to be built as an early modern city after the great fire destroyed most houses in the 1880s. Walk with me to know the Indians, Chinese, Buddhist, Christians and Indian Muslims living in harmony. The temple of fine art maintains to the uniqueness of the Indian classical dance.

We will see the second richest man in Malaysia. His humble beginning home in a traditional Malays house style. Among the Indians who came to Brickfields are the Kerala Christians. These folks go to Syrian Orthodox church in Brickfields.
