Malaysia food culture has strong influence from ethnic like Malay, Chinese, Indian, Baba Nyonya & Mamak. Each day will feature an ethnic's cuisine. However, only on Tuesday we will be focusing on The Nanyang Chinese (Hainan Chicken Rice, Char Siew & Chai Boey). Along the class, you'll also taste nutmeg juice, which is a refreshing native-grown fruit. At the end, we'll sit and enjoy what you have prepared, and learn a little more about Malaysian gastronomy.
Pick up from George Town
Stroll at Air Itam Morning Wet Market
After your pick -up, we will head straight to Air Itam Wet Market. Please be ready by 7:30A.M. Here we will be observe how locals buy their fresh produce. We will also have breakfast and buy some ingredients for our class.
Breakfast Tasting at Local Coffee Shop
Our hands-on cooking class takes place in a beautiful venue overlooking a lovely view of Penang. The menu consists of Penang street food and rotates throughout the week.
