Ubudiah Mosque is wonderfully dramatic, stealing the limelight in Kuala Kangsar with its magnificent 60-feet golden domes and minarets, as well as tiles imported from Italy and London. It was commissioned by Sultan Idris Murshidul Al-Adzam Shah in 1913, who vowed to build a beautiful mosque upon his recovery from an illness.
