About

Lukut Fort and Museum in Port Dickson traces the history of the town's tin mining past during the 19th century. The fort is located on Bukit Gajah Mati (Dead Elephant Hill), built in 1847 by Raja Jumaat and now in ruins.

At the foot of the historical hill lies the Lukut Museum, where you can find exhibitions of cultural artefacts from the heydays of Lukut.
