Let's take a night walk to observe the incredible nocturnal wildlife at Bukit Kiara, an urban park with a wild side.
Tucked in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Kiara is the city's green lung and a playground for mountain bikers, joggers and nature enthusiasts.
Steven Wong aka the Frogman takes you off the beaten path and into the wilder side of Bukit Kiara, where you can witness frogs, lizards and snakes.
We will be walking on paved roads with street lamps that stay on till 10pm. After that, you have the option on staying on the paved roads, or explore a trail where our chances of seeing nocturnal wildlife are higher.

Steven is as passionate about nature as he is passionate about sharing his knowledge with you. He is a fantastic guide who will educate you along the way about every animal you cross paths with. I like to think of him as a walking & talking National Geographic Magazine. He makes sure that guests will have a good look of the animal/insects, but more importantly he treats wildlife with respect. Plus, he is also an exceptional photographer!

Nice experience with the excellent field guides from Nature Inspired.. They are knowledgeable about both animals and plants in Malaysian forests. I enjoyed.

I've been to Bukit Kiara in the day, so it was a surprise to see that it is also interesting at night. Steven is passionate and willing to share his knowledge on the animals we were able to find. We spotted several snakes, frogs, firefly larvae, geckos and a rare tarantula! The walk itself is easy, even beginners can join in.
