If you’re interested in learning how to cook Nyonya Peranakan and traditional Malay cuisine from a professional chef, you are more than welcomed to join this hands-on cooking class.
There are useful resources that contain cooking recipes, a list of apparatus used, and helpful notes that will get you started on your journey. At the end of the day, you’d be able to learn how to cook a variety of dishes that your loved ones will able to enjoy at home!
Here's what we'll be cooking up:
Monday - Mee Siam, Ayam Sioh, Kerabu Mangga, Lobak
Tuesday - Nasi Lemak, Rendang Ayam, Sambal Telur, Sambal Heh Bee
Wednesday - Nasi Kunyit, Kari Kapitan, Telur Belanda, Sambal Serai Prawn
Thursday - Ayam Pongteh, Asam Pedas Ikan, Sambal Udang, Karipap
Friday - Nasi Tomato, Ayam Masak Merah, Pajeri Nenas, Gulai Tumis Ikan
Saturday - Mee Goreng Mamak, Chicken Sambal, Fish Curry, Kuih Ketayap
1) No class on Christmas and Chinese New Year
2) Menu may be substituted to another if the ingredients are not available for that particular.
3) Ingredients may be changed to vegetarian cuisine upon early notification.
