About

Terracota red brick beauties meets carnivalesque vibes at this historical square. This virtual tour of the Dutch Square puts you at the centre of everything that tells the history of Melaka.

Remnants of the Dutch rule can be seen in the Christ Church as well as the Stadthuys, completed in 1660 and believed to be the oldest Dutch building in the East. Queen Victoria’s Fountain represents the British rule, complete with ornate marble designs. Further down you can reach A Famosa, which existed since the Portuguese administration.
